“We were welcomed by the helpful couple at reception and showed to our rooms early. The rooms where nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We had a coffee maker in the room which was really nice. The rooms are small but comfortable. The reception gave us some good suggestions where to go for dinner. Everything was close by and within walking distance We had a nice breakfast at the hotel too with many delicious choices.. I can highly recommend this property”

Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. “The hotel is just a short walk from the port and it’s about 7 min away from Lion Square. The sound proof is amazing considering it’s on a main street and very close to the airport. Dimitri made some very good recommendations on restaurants - all of our meals have been amazing in Heraklion. The only recommendation I made is to replenish bottled water every day, rather than just giving 2 small bottles for the whole say. But all in all, good value for money and great hospitality! ”

“Nice all-inclusive hotel but room was very warm upon arrival because the air conditioning only works with the key card. Spa was okay but not up to American standards so I would find another. The 100 credit was nice to use in the spa but does not work for the store. Very family friendly so prepare for kids around. Finally, although there are 5 pools, only 2 are available for normal guests.”

Very good breakfast, upscale buffet. Terrific a-la-carte restaurants with exceptional staff. Nice spa and excellent massages (Maria and George). Only one downside : a very slow check-in process. “There’s a reason this hotel has so many good reviews - it’s absolutely amazingly well run. The rooms actually looked better in person than the pictures to our surprise. I was also very impressed with the food as it was all fresh, healthy and the variety served was all done to a high quality. The staff were also exceptionally helpful. The only minor issue was people reserving sun loungers at the pool but that’s common in many places. However the hotel has ample sun loungers on the beach which……
