I like the hotel, but is was definitely showing its wear and tear.

The staff were great, the room was nice and the hotel was close to everything.

I've stayed at Pod 51 several times and appreciate the fact that it provides exactly what I need—an affordable clean room and a comfortable bed to lay down on the few hours that I am in the room. I am usually in NYC for work, and am spending long hours at the office or catching up with colleagues over dinner. I do prefer one of the inner rooms (tends to be a little quieter), over street side, but its NYC. And thank you to the staff for making check-in and -out a friendly experience.

Great location with easy access to several subway stations, making it convenient to get around. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I had no issues whatsoever during my stay and would happily stay here again.

Room was small but I expected that. Clean and had all the necessities. Good AC, nice bathroom, comfortable enough bed to sleep in. No complaints overall. Great value for price. Restaurant in the hotel was also good. Friendly staff gave me recommendations for dinner. Rooftop bar was awesome to do some remote work at while enjoying the view. Walkable to a lot of popular spots. Easy access to train and bus for any longer travels.
