Stayed at the Rydges because it was close to the train station. Wanted to take the train to the airport but the train were under maintenance on the weekend. We had to take uber the next day.
Check in was easy, I was able to get an early check in. The staff didn’t confirm if I had breakfast included and didn’t provide wi-fi access at time of check-in. I had to ask later.
The elevators were slow.

We stayed here for 12 nights and thought the rooms and facilities were perfect for our needs. Breakfast was also tasty. The location was spot on, right by the metro and nearby some takeaway restaurants and one metro stop from lots of shops. The staff were most helpful when we needed to add on a night due to our flight being cancelled. We had a great view and apartment was spacious, clean and bed was super comfy. My only comments would be it would be handy if something was provided so you could dry your washing (like an airer), there isn’t much space for clothes and it can get quite noisy with traffic but earplugs sort that out. Overall excellent stay and would highly recommend.

There was absolutely no staff
Visibility to help with luggage we had to lug our own luggage to our rooms which is unheard of / previous owners had bell staff to take your luggage from the car - foyer areas are very run down - whole hotel needs a revamp as it’s looking very stayed - it is such a shame as we have been here many times under the old owners and loved it every time - this time we have been left wanting - even the rooftop bar was empty which tells you something - this used to ALwAyS be pumping …. Do better to stay competitive
