The hotel is in a great location near many good restaurants and the tram.

Perfect experience. Not too small. Spent one night and it was very comfortable.

The location was good, but overall we were disappointed with our stay. We were initially told babysitting services were available, but after arrival we were told otherwise and only after repeated complaints was one babysitter arranged. Housekeeping was below expectations, with towels and linens not being changed properly and the room not cleaned well. Customer service did not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel, and our complaints were not adequately addressed.

Everything was excellent. The location is great, the staff were friendly and helpf helpful. The only problem we had was a mixup with cleaning our room on the second day. The first day we put the no clean sign out on the door that was fine. The second day we took off the sign because we had had a problem with the shower and had used towels to clean it up. The shower was fixed promptly, but housekeeping never came to collect the wet towels and replace them.

Andaz Amsterdam was okay, but it would not be my first choice in Amsterdam. The hotel is convenient and the food was good, but the reception area is small and the modern design is not really my taste. The rooms are fine, but the beds were not very comfortable. There is no real spa, and the gym is too small for a hotel in this category. Overall, I would rate it closer to a 3-star hotel than a true 5-star hotel. I also think it is too expensive for what it offers.

The Pulitzer is a great stay in a wonderful location, with exceptional staff. We had one night in Amsterdam, and they helped to make it as special and fulfilling as we could hope! We will be back!
