Sales desks were set up right at each elevator access point to enter the lobby/food area. You were constantly pestered to "upgrade" your trip, do excursions, get massages, etc. Even after saying no and staying firm, they called your hotel room, left things under your door, and constantly asked when you got there and when you were leaving. Some sales pitch always happened. It was awful. The pool area isn't much and most of the entertainment was either water aerobics or karaoke. Food was mediocre. The app to reserve dinner never worked and the restaurants were closed almost everyday. I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

We returned to the Grand Riviera Princess after 10 years and we were very impressed with the recent renovations to the hotel rooms, main buffet and restaurants. All of the upgrades are beautiful and sophisticated. Excellent job! More importantly, we were very happy with the consistent friendly and professional service from the Princess team during our stay. Shout out to Carmen at the beach bar for making every interaction with our large family group, warm and personal. Shout out to Manuel who assisted with coordinating a lovely and emotional symbolic 50th Wedding Anniversary vow renewal ceremony on the beach.
