Loved the swim up pools, but they were closed after our second day there for construction. Resort was amazing, staff were fabulous. We will be returning when the construction is complete.

We stayed at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun for a week. Overall, the location is good, but the resort itself fell short of expectations. There were very few activities offered, and the service didn’t feel like a 5-star experience—more like a 3-star at best. During our stay, even when the resort wasn’t busy, staff often seemed hard to find when we needed assistance.
The breakfast and dinner buffets were quite basic and smaller compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at. We visited the Riviera Maya about two years ago, and the food there was noticeably better.
Overall, the experience was okay, but not exceptional. I’d rate it 3 out of 5.
