We spent $624 on a room with sea views, and the man at the front desk, who had a rather bad attitude, gave us a room on the first floor of one of the worst corners of the hotel, and I asked for a change, but he said he wanted to add $150. Room was clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. Location was excellent. We had a balcony room with beach /ocean view. Nice restaurant right in back and we were right on the boardwalk, with plenty of shops and small restaurants. Not the classiest name brand hotel, but it was everything we wanted.
