One of the best hotels I have ever stayed out. The charm of the building & decor, the spacious room, the lovely staff. Only complaint is the super hard beds - resulting in minimal sleep and now ongoing back problems.

Physical plant: Room was small but well designed and very clean. The view on the harbor was OK - not the hotel's fault - it's just that the harbor is nothing special. It was nice to have the large balcony. The rest of the hotel is very decent.
Location: It cannot be any more convenient than this. Close to the train station, the tram station, the biggest shopping mall in Nagasaki.
Service: Stellar! Check-in service, taxi service, restaurant reservations, check-out service, service at breakfast. NOTHING to complain about.
Food: Breakfast is excellent. I had three dinners at the hotel. At the main restaurant, at the teppanyaki restaurant, and at the sushi restaurant. All three dinners were very good, with the teppanyaki dinner being the best.
If one day I return to Nagasaki, I will definitely stay here again.
