「The apartment is located in a quiet family neighborhood, close to a nice park; ideal if you want to stay away from downtown crowds. Lelylaan Station is on a 10 minutes walk, from there is 15 minutes to the Airport or to the Central Station on train. It's a plus having Laundry in the Building. Some pillow cases were missing but they were promptly provided upon request; good communication with the Administrator.」

「This apartment is in a perfect location and the pictures are exactly what you get. There are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 good sized baths. We were greeted with a great bottle of wine, which was so appreciated after our long travels (Thank you Daan!) We had an issue with no hot water and a broken hair dryer (which we were alerted to by Daan). The hot water was fixed relatively quickly (needed a new part), and the hair dryer was replaced that same day. Later in our stay, the heat stopped...

「John and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Erwin and Karin. Our space was comfortable, everything you could possibly need if you were to actually cook. Bed, adjustable and comfortable. Stairs up to the apartment are 3 levels and are very steep and difficult if you have knee issues or breathing/heart issues. You have to keep in mind that you have to carry your luggage. We are in our 60's and we managed. All in all I would give Erwin and Karin 10/10! Amsterdam is awesome!」

「Our host, Sebastian, was a true gentleman from beginning to end. We spent 8 days in this apartment after taking a transatlantic cruise. Sebastian was kind to greet us when we arrived early and stowed our suitcases. From there, he had maps and area information readily available, answered questions promptly, furnished fresh towels half-way through our stay, and even offered to mail our package back to the States for us. 「Mario was the best host; so easy to communicate with and genuinely kind. We appreciate his responsiveness and the laundry service. The apartment is large, comfortable for 6 people (we had 5). There is not a lift and the stairs can be challenging if you are above floor 2. The apartment is well stocked and furnished. Location is great; right in the heart of De Wallen. We would stay here again for sure. 」

「We had a wonderful stay. The location was very central and convenient. Evert greeted us on arrival, carried our heavy bags up the winding staircase, explained the area and the town to us, and provided us with ample supplies of coffee, tea, juice and a number of “goodies”. 「This flat has everything you need. We really loved our first time to Amsterdam. Like people said earlier the steps are a good workout! The flat is decorated very cute and the beds are very comfortable. So is the sofa!! It is easily accessible to the trams into the city and walking distance to cafés and grocery stores. It feels a little far from the city, but that also makes it really quiet and there is a lot of parking!! Valcim was really attentive to our needs too. Thank you so much!」
