“I have reserved a room with private bathroom...It is supposed that it is an ensuite bathroom. Finally, it found that the toilet is in the room, but the bathroom is opened for public. It is a little shock. Luckily, the nice staff was willing to upgrade our room to REAL ensuite bathroom...”

“One of the best Bed and Breakfast places we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located right by the water, a charming manor that’s well maintained. The staff working here are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well stocked with amenities. The breakfast offers some good options including fresh fruits and Greek yogurt. They also offer laundry service which we took an advantage of. It was very nice to see the folded warm laundry delivered into our room after a day of mountain……

“hotel Ballachulish has lovely updated guest rooms with comfortable beds and terrific baths. Tge check in procedure was pleasant and very easy. We didn’t have dinner so I can’t speak to that but breakfast was very nice. The views from some rooms and the dining room are extraordinary. ”

“The bunkhouse is really well managed and we were really well informed of how the bunkhouse worked, especially the shared spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful too. This place is especially suited to young travellers who can catch up with like minded, adventurous people. ”

“This is a great place located around a mile or so from Strontian, off the beaten track. I had the twin (bunk bed) room in the bunkhouse next to the kitchen. Room was clean, tidy with a separate toilet, shower, sink. The TV and Freesat did not work (no channels) but frankly that didn’t matter as the weekend was about getting away from the Rat Race. Bed was small (but I big), but comfortable. The sound of a babbling brook, the smell of wood smoke and stars in the dark sky at night was enough……
