「We’ve rented several VRBO properties over the past ten years and this was by far our favorite. So perfectly decorated. 5+++ stars! Watched some baseball games over the weekend …close to the University with a get away feeling. Thanks for sharing your property with us. You’ve got a keeper!」

「Thinking the continental breakfast could be improved - maybe some other fruit instead of only bananas. Muffins got a little boring after the second day. Maybe having a toaster and some toast and jelly packets would be nice.」

「This place was amazing! Friendly neighbors, safe neighborhood, and very quiet! We felt like royalty during our entire stay. THe place was so spacious and clean, and even though it was just the two of us, we really enjoyed the convenience of having a second bathroom. The kitchen was probably the best equipped of all our rentals to day and we have stayed in over 20 of them. There was tons of counter space and the island in the kitchen made it easy to spread out. 「Always a great place to stay. I much prefer this place to the other much more expensive places found in Mattoon. Yes, it is older, but everything is clean and in good shape. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I also appreciate being able to park in front of my door to the room!」

「We found a can of soda in the fridge when we first came in the room, which really shocked us. Due to the fully booked hotel, the service they gave were limited as well. But overall this was a pleasant stay.」

「Rooms are fine for the price. This is a perfectly average room and has nothing fancy. I always stay here when visiting family because all i use the room for is sleep and bathing. The only issue i had this time was that the sink was pretty clogged and took over 5 minutes to drain. Beds are clean and comfortable. For a quick stay it is perfect especially since it it right off the highway with plenty of dining options and a Walmart right across the road. 」

「It’s older but it’s a hidden gem. Staff is awesome, everything is clean and they do special little touches like making a swan out of towels on your bed. Also, if you want to stay somewhere that has activities then Suite Dreams has you covered, literally as this is all indoors; bags, plastic throwing axes, indoor golf screen if you bring your clubs and balls, a separate library with books, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, checkers, Jenga, a bar, video gambling…. Wish I learned about this place...
