「Staff at desk, restaurant and elsewhere were excellent and made us feel very welcome each day. We look forward to coming back and seeing the wonderful new renovation of the outdoor pool area and Tiki Hut. Thank you!」

「The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....

「We were so pleased with our stay at the Comfort Inn in Downtown Charleston. The room was upgraded and had all the amenities, bed was comfortable, shower was strong, and towels were soft. These are not always the case in more economical hotels. The breakfast was very good as well. Public transportation to the center of Charleston was easy to navigate. 」

「Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel in the last few years, and I made a return stay due to the staff and the location of the hotel. The rooms need a lot of work (many scuffed up doorways, missing paint, dust around electrical outlets, dirty windows, etc) but I had a comfortable stay overall and would consider staying again. 」

「Check out is 10 not 11 not use to that and house keeping isn’t every day only when done with stay so we had to keep getting towels but over all great stay ! I don’t like that out side pool is shade due to other building blocking sun I swim for sun so for that reason only I won’t book again ! Other wise great hotel 」

「The property and it's staff were great. Our room however was very loud. We were right behind the elevator, which we heard every time it went up/down. The room was on floor 2, so we were able to hear a lot of road noise, mainly motorcycles at night. And we were just above the dumpster so we heard the trash truck every morning. I would stay again, but I would request a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator.」
