“Location is great, close to everything we wanted to do. House was clean and as described. Bathrooms are like a jack in jill style, one toilet off common area and other off master bed room which lead to a shared tub/shower. We really liked this with details noting only one full bath. Use of the garage was nice also. Neighbor was very quiet. We also tripped on the rug under the dining room table many times. Thank you, we had a great stay”

“The hotel was very convenient to the places I needed to go. A car is recommended to get to dining. Bring facial soap. There is a train that runs through downtown Springfield that runs the horns at night. Any hotel downtown can likely hear it. The breakfast at the hotel was really delicious.”

“This was an amazing place to stay. The second you step in, you feel like your teleported 150 years into the past. I loved all the original stuff they left in the house. Very cool vibes. You can tell the people that take care of this place, have a lot of pride in it. Great place to stay if your in Springfield, Indiana!”

“The apartment was wonderful. Great neighborhood and convenient location. It was big and spacious and had everything you need. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and quiet. Parking was available. Justin and Elena were so nice and gracious. I give them my highest recommendation.”

“The decor of the property was very retro. We stepped back into the 1970’s, which was cool. I’ve stayed at VRBO properties that tried to do period-specific before, but went all in, in ways that detracted from the experience. But this property wasn’t like that. The TV was “smart”, which guests have come to expect. The beds were also comfortable, which is a must. It was a fun stay.”

“Overall nice stay and good value if you have a party of 4 or more. We only had two but it was very spacious - it is on the third floor and no elevator - so two flights of stairs is something to know - also you will need to pay for parking in a garage. I was nervous about underground parking. There were a lot of engaging homeless downtown so I didn’t feel safe by myself going underground, I paid to park a few block away at a hotel.”

“Pros: Beds were comfortable with bedside tables and access to outlets, carpeting looked new. Great location to local attractions and restaurants. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Driveway fits two cars, with street parking available for more. Owner very responsive to questions. Cons: Needs better attention to cleaning (windowsills were very dirty throughout, air exchange vents were either super dirty or rusted); Could use a table and/or luggage racks in bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom had a walk-in……
