“ Beautiful hotel that has had a lot of work done to it recently. But I was annoyed that we had to pay £5 a day on top of our hotel bill for parking in the hotel carpark. Plus the pillows were very hard & uncomfortable, & there was only one socket available to use in the room. ”

“Location was spot on, and the property was ideal for four of us. Beds were comfy and all was good bar a lack of electric from the plugs on the top two floors which ruined my plan to spend the weekend in the jacuzzi bath! We didnt contact the owners as it caused us very little bother. There are approx 20 varied pubs within half a mile, heaven.”

“Had a very nice stay at the Best Western all the staff were polite and professional, the breakfast was great. Only a few minute walk to the centre.”

“This is a very comfortable, spotlessly clean and tidy B and B with a great breakfast and very friendly staff. Some really nice touches are the delicious chocolate bars in rooms daily and on the last day a post card appears on your table of one of the excellent pencil drawings by the owner which line the walls of the breakfast room. ”

“Hotel is a little warn but lovely historical building. Good breakfast and staff were excellent.. especially the lovely spoken lady on the front desk who was very helpful.”

“We loved the tranquility of Cavendish. The view from rooms 1&2 were breathtakingly beautiful . The green rolling hillsides with buttercups were lovely and relaxing. The staff was incredibly engaged and helpful. Adele at the front desk was amazing as was Tony who was very helpful. Stuart Bond as our server was upbeat , friendly and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious. We look forward to returning . ”
