“We love visiting the cottage. It has everything we need for a comfortable stay and is in an idyllic part of Durham. The views are breathtaking. The fire makes the whole cottage feel so cozy and homely. When you visit, try to remember it is over 100 years old so dont expect a "new build" - it has all the wrinkles of age, which make it endearing. We will be visiting again as soon as we can”

“Lovely little cottage tucked away off the main street. All mod cons, comfy bed and sofa and nice little garden. Many shops and restaurants on the main street. A good place to stay to visit The Cotswolds.”

“Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit Vermieter. Check-In & Check-Out ebenfalls sehr unkompliziert und flexibel. Lage sehr ruhig & trotzdem schnell im Zentrum. Sehr ringhörige Wohnung. Leute von oben hört man sehr gut, was uns jedoch nicht gestört hat. Für 4 Person nur für Kurzaufenthalt möglich. Mehrere Nächte auf Schlafsofas kaum möglich, da sie äusserst unbequem sind. Im allgemeinen waren wir mit der Wohnung sehr zufrieden.”

“Room is immaculate and the bed is better than expected. Ventilation is generally poor but at least the room doesnt smell. Hot shower works after 3 minutes of draining but otherwise everything else is fine.”

“We arrived to find the property to find sheets and bedding lying on the floor dirty. Bed mattress cover full of hairs. The place was untidy and needed a good clean. Bathroom was dirty with wet mat thrown crumpled on the floor, the kitchen was greasy and smelled. We could not park in the space provided as another car was there. The contact numbers of the property given by Expedia did not work. We want our money back now! Had to find another place to stay on arrival as was not prepared to……
