Weather was April spring--cool but pleasant walking the beaches, exploring dunes, watching white waves, feeling the lake breeze. Michigan City is not just a summer vacation spot! We will come back!”

“Super cute little apartment. Everything was a described very attentive host who quickly answered questions. Would stay again if available next time in Chicago.”

“This place worked well for a short trip visiting Indiana Dunes. The only issue we had was that the cleaning crew hadn’t come by before we got there, but that was likely just a fluke and the host was very quick to respond when I messaged him about it and had it completely taken care of within an hour. Michigan City is a good location to find nearby restaurants and is just 10 minutes to the eastern side of the National Park.”

“We came to the Market House for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The space was perfect for the two of us. On Saturday we were heading to the Indiana Dunes State Park and walked out to a farmer's market in the parking lot behind the building. We're big hikers so we did the 3 dune challenge, but I saw there was an outlet mall nearby if shopping is more your speed. There's also a tram that runs through the area and into Chicago if you need a day trip to the big city. Easy in, easy out, dedicated……

“We wanted to do some outlet shopping. This lovely old house is right across the street from the mall. It was very clean and well furnished. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood was quiet. We had a lovely weekend.”

“My sons and I stayed here for our annual trip to Chicago. We always stay in Chinatown. This place was great. All was clean. It was so quiet. The train can be heard faintly in the distance. Shower was nice. Towels were thick. The little porch was perfect for sitting outside. It was typical Chicago parking. We were always to find a spot. We hope to stay here again.”

“We loved our stay at the Cozy Getaway! We brought our two large breed dogs and their dog-sitter, Furbo. If you have dogs that react to noise you'll want to be aware this space is one of 4 units in this lovely remodeled century home. We had to make the owner aware of an issue with the air conditioning not working and they promptly sent their handyman to save the day! If watching tv in bed is your idea of romance, you'll have to move the only tv though. The location is top notch with the shops and……

“Very nice apartment that we use to house our director and to host business meetings. Close to many restaurants, shopping, the lakefront and the casino. We will definitely book again next time we are in the area. The host was attentive and responsive — a 10 out of ten!!”

“Had some trepidations about the neighborhood when I first saw it. However, neighborhood was very pleasant quiet. Apartment was very nice nicely furnished without being cluttered overall very comfortable place to stay. I would definitely consider it again if I come back to Chicago.”

“This was in a historic building, with secure festures (several locked entrances). It was clearly a renovated factory, with pipes in the ceiling and exposed brick. This added to the charm. We were visting downtown, this rental was a few miles, so we rented bikes and or walked to get places. They included small details, shampoo, hair dryer, even toothbrushes! We enjoyed our stay.”
