“No a/c in rooms, but fan provided. No screens on windows. History video was wonderful. Buffet breakfast was okay. Ran out of fresh fruit salad. Dinner okay, service rushed. Grounds lovely. Reception and management staff friendly and helpful. Our room needed updating. Bed not a king, as represented. Furnishings tired. Whole hotel needs updating. Bath tub too narrow and hot/cold shower knobs in a bad location. Bathroom window would not open.”

“Excellent hotel, spacious room, clean. Ideal location in the centre of the village. No lift lift but a member of staff carried our cases up for us. The food was excellent, for breakfast and dinner. No on-site parking but no problem at all finding an on street space (no restrictions) nearby.”
