Overall clean, comfortable and great location. Wasn’t advised before arrival that evening meals are no longer served however you can dine at the sister hotel with a 10% discount. Also after standing in a queue at reception (for a drink from the bar) for around 10mins getting to the front and told by the receptionist that she couldn’t serve me, she was the only one working and had to see to those checking in first and asked me to come back later!!!!!!

Clean tidy rooms in the town centre , has aspa and bar , very good breakfast with good choice ,helpful staff, no evening meals served . Large airy room with shower ensuite. Would book again. One gripe was the room has no coat hooks or shelves only small cupboard with a few hangers so most items like coats etc laid on the floor , also no place to hang your towels after your shower, minor thing but important if you have wet coats etc.

The Scotlands Spa Hotel was perfect for our one night stay in Pitlochry. It's just a block off the Main Street and all the shops and within walking distance of several restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was extravagant and included everything for a full Scottish breakfast, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and several other options. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had 4 adults in a family room, which was a little cramped, but we got along fine. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the pool, jacuzzi, or spa. It was a little pricier than what I usually choose but it was well worth it.

My husband and I stayed here during our two week trip through Scotland from the United States. The hotel itself is in an excellent location, as you can walk to the downtown and all the shopping and restaurants very easily. We appreciated having the bar and breakfast right within the location itself. Excellent breakfast choices! The only downside that we found, was that the room was incredibly hot since the outdoor temperatures were in the 60s all week. We also found that there was a little bit of rust in the water when we first turned the faucet on. That cleared up after I use it. Overall, this is a very, very nice place to stay!

Im vegetarian and not a great lover of buffet breakfast...not enough variety and looked quite greasy! Apart from that, there was plenty of choice of 'Continental' type produce, so it was acceptable. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The hotel facilities were well below the standard we expected. The bedroom window would not open, making the room feel stuffy and uncomfortable. The changing facilities were particularly poor. There was blood on one of the benches, mould covering the shower curtains, and several lockers were missing doors entirely, making them unusable. The jacuzzi was also very grimy and clearly not being maintained to an acceptable standard. Throughout the hotel, cleanliness and upkeep appeared to be lacking. There were flies on the corridor windowsills, and the general condition of the property was very dated and tired-looking. Overall, the hotel is in need of significant refurbishment and improved cleaning standards. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here.

The hotel itself is looking a little tired in places, but the bedrooms have been tastefully redecorated and have everything you need - comfy bed, good bathroom with shower cubicle, hairdryer, coffee machine, kettle, large smart TV, free WiFi and even an ironing board and iron. It wasn't an issue for me, but the lift to the third (attic) floor wasn't working, and it wouldn't have been fun to carry large, heavy suitcases up the narrow stairs. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold options. The hotel was very busy so we were asked to book in for a time slot for breakfast to help manage the numbers. This worked well though. I didn't use the pool, gym or spa facilities.

Room was spacious. Breakfast room staffer (older gentleman) was enthusiastic and helpful. On our second day he remembered us and came over as soon as we were seated to say he had already requested my husband's gluten free toast before we even asked. Lots of breakfast options, gluten free toast available on request and is made separately in the kitchen so there is no risk of cross contamination using the communal toaster. Had a great hot stone massage at the spa. Only downfall was limited parking. We arrived for check in around 9:30 pm and the lot was completely full except for 1 EV charger spot. The lady at the front desk directed us to a public pay-parking lot several blocks away (which we later discovered has signs saying no overnight parking). She asked us if there were any of the charger spots left and we said yes, there was 1, and she told us to park there. So we did get a parking spot on the grounds, then made sure we were back to the hotel early every evening after that so we could get a spot.

Good hotel is a little dated in places but it is an old building so you can’t expect tout to be to modern, floor boards are very noisy and the window are not double glazed so can here outside noise. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff go above and beyond to help.
