“Even better than what we expected. The property was about a kilometer up the road from downtown Sorrento. Beautiful views. The property has two living areas with a shared covered patio with a large table, patio furniture and a barbecue grill/pizza oven. We stayed in the lower living area containing three bedrooms. “Vom Haus hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf den Golf von Neapel und den Vesuv. Den Blick kan man vom schönen Garten oder der Terasse im 1. Stock geniessen. Das Haus innen ist schön und geräumig. Leider hat das Haus etwas Probleme nit Feuchtigkeit. Parkplat ist am Strassenrand. Ist kein Problem, sollte man aber wissen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr geniossen.”

“We were there for only a short two night stay but were able to spend time on Capri, a whole day driving the Almafi coast and dinner in Sorrento. All were great experiences and this place (be sure you have the two 'names' for this place handy...Villa L'Ulivina AND Villa Golconda, it can be confusing when using the map on the VRBO site versus the actual address of Via Capo 68). “Beautiful place - an unbelievable view from every space on the property. The property description is accurate. The outside space is incredible - so many places to hang out. Sara and Pepe are very accommodating and an adorable couple! Be warned - it is a very long and steep way up to the villa. “I was so very pleased with how beautiful and well-designed the Villa was with its two lovely flower filled terraces looking out on the olive groves, the sea and the beach below. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with food and wine for both breakfast and delicious antipasti which we enjoyed at the table outside. The bedrooms were very charming and each had its own very nice bathroom. The Villa was cleaned often and was in wonderful condition with a hundred thoughtful touches for our comfort.……

“The villa offered a rustic experience with beautiful views of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. Though the home does not offer air conditioning, the many trees keep the property shaded and cool. Nights are very comfortable and required multiple covers. Maurizio and Lucia were great hosts. They were always available and helpful in answering questions and giving recommendations. They connected us with a reliable driving service that transported us from the airport in Rome and to various other places……

“This was a great holiday stay for us. The location is perfect for a quiet retreat with a 20-30 min drive to Sorrento for shopping or to the port for a trip to Capri. Lots of restaurants and agrituriismos nearby. The recreational amenities were fun after long days of sightseeing and shopping... especially the jacuzzi. This is a very photogenic property with an amazing view and delicious persimmons growing out front. There is only one thing I would liked to see improved... The kitchen needs a deep……

“The property was luxurious in every way. Perfect location (minutes walk to downtown Sorrento). Bedrooms all had King beds and most had great views. The grounds and pool were meticulously maintained. Staff was extremely helpful and took great care of my group and we cannot say enough about Carmine our host who helped and organized tours, limo transportation, or anything else needed. 5-star property bar none. “Our stay in Sorrento was fabulous and made perfect by Rosella, our VRBO host! From check in ( when we couldn’t find the property and Rosella met us and had us follow her) to check out our stay was seamless. The Villa was everything we wanted in a vacation rental. The property was clean, spacious and beautiful. It also had beautiful outdoor space that was greatly appreciated because the weather was fabulous. Rosella gave us some terrific suggestions for restaurants and tours, even arranging……

“I'm 59 years old, lucky enough to visit and stay at some beautiful properties, and this is the first place I've ever said that I'm definitely going to find the time to come back to visit. This Villa is amazing! The pictures do not do the view justice! Our family of seven adults stayed here more than comfortably, and it felt like home. “This was a great location; close to the main centre with restaurants, grocery store etc. The host was easy to reach and we were met at apt at check in time by Lucia who was very helpful. The only 2 comments is that if arriving early, make special arrangements as the property management co name is not on the directory of the building so we were not sure where to go. Luckily someone let us in and we stored our luggage in an open office ( the wrong office) until check in time but they didn't……
