"It was three of us in a room. Air-conditioner seemed to not stay the same temperature during the night, and parking sucked, and shower floor wasnt leveled so water kept running out. Otherwise, clean room, excellent location, lots of options to eat, owner was very clear and helpful. Will definitely stay there again."

"We enjoyed our time at Mare and had a very good experience. The one issue is that what you see in the pictures is not necessarily what you will get and the rooms vary greatly. Some had a refrigerator, others didn't; some had shelves and spacious bathrooms; our room had only a clothes rack with 5 hangers and you could only fit one person in the bathroom at a time. "Caribe Hilton is a beautiful resort and we loved our stay there. The pools and views were amazing. The staff was super nice and we loved our room. Everything was very clean when we arrived and every day that housekeeping stopped by. The areas of improvement would be that there were two elevators and one was broken the entire time we were there so it took time to up and down. Also, hot water to shower was hard we had to wait a while for the water to warm up and play around with the knob to get it right and then most of the time the water would stay hot for like 5 mins and then go back to cold. They lost power one day that we were there twice right when we were getting ready for dinner so that was unpleasant. The water never got hot after that. Other downside was that the food was expensive. It was delicious but way too pricey for our budget so we ate out with the exception of the night of our anniversary. I will say if you can afford Morton's Steakhouse it is the best restaurant in the hotel and in San Juan. The food, staff, drinks, atmosphere and everything else was 5 star quality. Overall we had a great stay at Caribe Hilton and would recommend!"
