Fort Walton Beach Family Hotel

"Wish we would’ve had the time for a longer stay. Staff was excellent- very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the beach and a further down from the busiest areas- it was very peaceful. Nice boardwalk from the parking area to the beach. It didn’t seem like there was very much entertainment or restaurants within walking distance but we didn’t have time to really explore. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We stayed here for our Anniversary and we could not have made a better choice. When we got there it was really quiet and not very crowded. The guy at the front desk upgraded our room for free so we had a view of the ocean. I had read some reviews online that they was remodeling and I’m pretty sure they were but we only heard or saw them on our first day and that was when we was leaving to hangout in town. We definitely got one of the renovated rooms and they look great. The only problem I saw with our room was the toilet had the wrong top on the back and it would run without shutting off if you pressed it all the way down. That was the only issue I saw with the room. The location was perfect and the beach was amazing. This is definitely going on our favorites list for trips in the future."

"I have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years. The property is under new management with lots of new improvements. Staff is always welcoming and professional. Rooms are inviting and the entire property has that "old Florida" feel to it which is hard to find in a world of high rises and hotel chains. "
