"Good stay. 1mins walk to towers and close to all historic sites. A lot of restaurants around. Easy to take bus to bologna central station. sound insulation is so so. But compared to the location and convenience. It is ok. "

"It was a very unusual stopover for me in that I had a car accident less than 1km from the house after driving 1100km that day from northern France (beware Google maps satnav as it suggested I should turn around when I was on the right road, which effectively led to the accident). "My brothers & I stayed here for three nights while on a road trip, the stay exceeded all expectations, the host Donnatella & Gianni were incredibly hospitable & helpful, as we wanted to go to Modena & Bologna for the City & of course Ferrari, but at Donnatellas suggestion we visited Pagani, a really unexpected highlight, we all agreed you can’t go wrong here, great hosts comfortable rooms& good road connections, we have no hesitation in recommending them, many thanks again"

"This is the perfect location for a trip to explore Bologna! It is one block off of Piazza Maggiore and you can walk to most of the sites you’ll want to see. There is plenty of dining and shopping in the area. It isn’t a quiet part of town and if you are a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs. I stayed in the Beatrice room and it was clean and good size for 1-2 people. There is a lift to bring you to the top floor. I didn’t meet any of the staff in person, but did communicate with Massimo...

"The apartment is small but charming. Very close to everything in Modena. We were out most of the time so it suited us. No kettle. About 40 steps up to apartment so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Great communication with the host"
