"We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great."

"The house was great - very well equipped and a beautiful relaxing home. Just can't beat the location - virtually within the park - but so superior (for us at least!) to any other options in Yosemite. Hosts were extremely responsive to any questions or issues. We'd certainly return!"

"What a comfortable, lovely cabin! We loved the real batten door. The directions to get there were clear, the location was perfect - away from the hubub, but a pretty drive to the valley. The home was clean, and everything we needed to use for cooking was available. The beds were comfortable, and there was ample seating for our evenings."

"Love Yosemite but not the crowds? I get to the park 2-3 times a year, for 25 years now. Foresta is a gem, well off the beaten path for most visitors - but 15 minutes from the valley. Quiet! Wonderful hikes, literally outside your door. Foresta Falls are about 20 minutes away, and they'd be the centerpiece of a park anyplace other than Yosemite. Continuing on that trail takes you out to overlook the Merced River canyon. Another hike (on First and Second Streets) takes you on a loop around the...

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our main problem was with communication with the manager of the property. We apparently were supposed to receive check-in instructions via email which we never did. I reached out to the contact phone number the day of arrival and left a voicemail but never heard back. We arrived approximately 9pm on our check-in date and fortunately the back door had been left unlocked, so we went on it. The next day we found a "registration" office, and learned we should have...

"Be prepared to check in with Redwoods Yosemite Management prior to occupying cabin. That wasn't indicated in our VRBO instructions. Luckily, we chose to stop by a nearby management office to use their phone(due to no cell reception), & discovered that was the procedure to check in. Had we arrived 1 hour later, we would have been unaware of the "after hours check in procedures" Otherwise, our accommodations were perfect & would gladly stay again."

"We stayed for 3 days and needed more but enjoyed the limited time we had. The cabin was comfortable and clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The office personnel were very pleasant."

"The property was clean, modern, quiet and very charming. It was more remote than I was expecting but we came prepared with groceries for the duration of our stay so was not a problem that there were no restaurants nearby. The refrigerator did stop working on the last day of our stay but that was just bad luck and not a reflection of the property."

"Great chalet in the mountains of yosemite! Kids loved the wood stove and the loft. Laundry was great. Checkin was delayed due to staffing issues, but they took care of us in the end. Vintage stove and sink bring challenges if not used to operating, but the charm is wonderful and we were able to cook all our meals. Definitely would stay again! Super cozy feels!"

"Amazing front porch with beautiful views. Feels far from everything, but actually quite east accsss to amenities. The house was lovely, and the rooms were cozy. The mattress protector made it sound like you were sleeping on a tarp but the beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed, bathroom had nice plastic free hair care options and soap. Would have loved some good coffee and or tea on site, its not pratical to buy a box/bag for a couple of nights. Thank you for the perfect getaway."
