"We had a wonderful time staying at the Caruso, A Belmond Hotel in Ravello. We were greeted by friendly and warmhearted staffs. We got free upgrade to a suite with balcony viewing of the sea and surrounded with purple wisterias. The suite was spacious and prepared the welcoming champagne and fresh fruits. The hotel had stunning views every corner and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the complementary sunset boating tour due to the weather. "

"Lovely historic property with a terrific staff, great breakfast (included) and a great bar overlooking the coast. Ravello is beautiful and quieter than the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Our room (especially the floor) could have been cleaner and the AC does not work well. Very comfortable room. Cabs are VERY expensive and the drive is long to get anywhere outside of Ravello. Lots to see in Ravello though."

"Good place to stay for a few nights while touring around if you don't plan to spend much time in the room or at the property. Not the worst and not the best. Everything was adequate but not fancy. The breakfasts were fresh and filling, showers had good pressure and hot water, bed was not bad. "

"The most magical place to stay! The Villa and staff are amazing! The massive grounds/gardens are incredible. You must walk 10-15 minutes from the “meeting spot” in the center of town to get to the property so it’s not recommended for anyone who doesn’t want to walk. However, so worth it! We will be back! Ravello is a gem of a town! Pure magic!"

"Exceptionally good service. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast was good with really nice homemade jam! The evening meal was excellent and we enjoyed the wine from the hotel cellar. Views from our room and the terrace restaurant were spectacular. We would definitely highly recommend ."

"What a beautiful place to stay! Close to everything ravello has to offer and fantastic parking onsite made everything easier. I only wish we had been there closer to.summer to use the pool! The staff are super helpful and the place is stunning!"

"Villa Maria is a beautiful oasis in Ravello. Our family loved everything about our stay there. The rooms are well appointed, the food and views fantastic. Best of all the employees were truly wonderful. From the Maria-Grazie, Erika, Maria on the reception desk to Pepi and Nando in the restaurant and housekeeping (among many many others) we were extremely well taken care of. I just can’t say enough nice things about Villa Maria and the staff. And Lola the dog of course. "

"Everything was perfect since we arrived. The staff were so kind going above and beyond at every step, the room had a beautiful view—it’s a bit far from the city but apparently they have a shuttle you can ask for in advance. We stayed in a room with partial seaside view but instead we got a full view! It was as pictured, with a terrace and view to ourselves. Even if you don’t get a room with a view, they have outdoor seating with the most amazing view, and there’s beautiful live music in the evenings from 8-8:30pm. They also have their private seaside/beach area and pool open to guests—many other beaches in the area are not free, while the hotels is both private and free for guests. When we went it was nearly empty, very private, and breathtaking beauty."
