"Our criteria was an affordable hotel with a front desk & relatively close to the train station. This hotel delivered precisely that. It was just across the square, not even 10 minutes easy walk. Our room faced the square & had a little balcony style window which could be opened but not sat on. There was both an outside shutter & curtains which were very effective in blocking out noise & light. We slept well & were not disturbed at all. "Location is right in the heart of the town and there is a multitude of restaurants nearby. Our room was recently renovated as I most of the rooms I believe. Great shower and bathroom and lots of plugs for devices. Breakfast very good as well"

"A great little gem 3 minutes from the beach/marina. Several fresh seafood restaurants around the area. The beds were clean/comfortable, the rooms were clean, the hotel staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and they were very very helpful. "

"Staff was so friendly and helpful. Explained the transportation and gave us recommendations. Very clean place. Was about a 10-15 min walk to city center but hotel is right next to a bus stop as well. "

"beautiful property, every room on the main floor (where you have your breakfast) opens up to a beautiful view of the ocean. breakfast was essentially continental so nothing too exciting but a nice touch (bread, croissants, yogurt, granola, orange juice, jam, butter, nutella with an option for cheese slices and salami) but Ima makes amazing espresso/cappuccinos which made it all better! Marcos & Ima were incredibly kind and helpful staff members throughout our stay, helped us with the bus...

"Would highly recommend staying here, in a perfect location in the centre of Positano, 5-10 mins walk to the beach, lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is lovely, very clean and staff really helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. You even get beach towels and flip flops provided in your room if you want to go to the beach! "

"The modern hotel located in a walkable area of Sorrento. There is a lovely breakfast that is suitable for all. Staff is friendly and very helpful before and during the stay. An elevator is a big plus. The room decor is bright and cheerful."

"Our stay at Hotel Spicy was great!!! They provide shuttle service to the main area for 2 euros and it comes very often. We also did a Amalfi & Positano boat trip through the hotel where they had someone come pick us up directly from the hotel. There were so many great convenience factors and I will definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Sorrento! Be sure to check out the natural swimming hole that is just a walking distance from the hotel for an amazing free excursion! "
