"We are locals who stayed for a staycation for my birthday. Everything about Charleston Place is five star but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the service. Charleston is a friendly and polite city and everyone we encountered at the hotel was very professional but also warm and friendly. True Charleston hospitality. The restaurant is superb and the spa is great."

It is a comfortable place with a B&B feel. Our room was not small for being right in the center of the city. Our room and bathroom were clean and always replenished with drinking water.
