Appreciate that there was a lot going on in Manchester (Foos, Peter Kay, Liam Gallagher) as well as a wedding at the hotel, but bar service was relatively meh. We sat in Mount Street bar for a while with no service, and staff seemingly avoiding eye contact. Returned to main bar, where was a little better, but chaotic and a bit of a disparity on service times depending on who at bar was serving/preparing drinks. Ok, and...

"Our air conditioning in our room was locked so it felt like the Sahara. On the second morning, the scrambled egg at breakfast was very runny and soft. The staff seemed stressed as it was a particularly busy and manic morning. There also wasn't any notice anywhere to say vegetarian sausage options could be ordered from the kitchen, as there wasn't any on the hot buffet, but staff seemed too stressed so we didn't enquire. "Good location, easy to walk to and from the train station at the airport. The room was very basic. All you need is in it such as kettle, electric and usb sockets. A desk off sorts, air conditioning and in my case twin beds. The decor was a very fetching orange. For the 1 night that I stayed is was ideal. I ate in the sister hotel opposite which had a varied menu. I recommend that you book a table to avoid disappointment or queuing. "

"Very nice hotel, not too far from the Northern Quarter and has an Aldi across the road. It was generally clean and the staff were welcoming. There is currently a building site next door so we were awoken both days by banging and plant moving around early in the morning. Housekeeping didnt bother making the beds or topping up any of the supplies but did replace the towels. Breakfast was pretty good but can get busy."

"Hotel is bang in middle of everything.. Lovely staff in reception. As it's an old building it had old wondows and the window in my room didn't lock and actually blew open at 1 point. Aunt had a sepreate room and her room was very cold and no radiator apart from that we would all definitely would stay here again for it's location..."
