“I mean you get what you pay for! Good, but the whole place was just..meh. Our room had holes in the walls and ceiling. There were dead bugs in the tub, one of our rooms there was a huge crack in the bottom of the tub! The beds move every time you roll over or just try to sit on them. The WiFi wasn’t all that great. The breakfast was alright. The pancake mashing was acting up a little bit and instead of fixing and cleaning it they lady just turned it off.. The staff was friendly the whole time……

“The hotel is a beautiful grand old lady. Very elegant. From the front entrance with the courtyard and its babbling fountain through the elegant lobby to the "parlor" with its charming cozy fireplace, we found it delightful. All the staff could not have been more helpful! They were pleasant and personable and went out of their way to be friendly...Alexis and Gretchen were lovely and made us feel right at home. We stayed one night in the James Dean room and one night in a patio room. Both were……

“Both room and hotel were very clean. My room was a little be noisy due to next to working space and dining area. Except that everything is very good to me.”

“The room did not have a table and chair to work on. Only a couch. Without a chair, it was difficult to watch TV, eat, or work. Reportedly, only one room had a table and a chair. For this money charged, this is outrageous. The bar was never open, no breakfast, and at night, there was a terrible ringing noise in the lobby. Which is why no one was around. The air conditioner fan would keep you awake, and better just turn it off. This is an old hotel that needs a major renovation or shut……

“The continental breakfast was depleted by 9 o’clock when it was supposed to continue until 930. Food had to be brought back to the room to eat as there was only one small table in that area, no TV. There is also a spider on the floor of the room that was the size of a tarantula No extra blankets or pillows were available in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so old it still has springs in it. The check in was completed by a child. Very overpriced.”
