However once you realise that the site photos were taken when it was back in the day and not reflective of today it’s a nice place to be . The receptionists who also help with bar and meal serving were lovely and the breakfast host too. It’s been taken over after previous owners run it down and will take time and money to restore so I would support them to enable that cash to come through . Good gym and great pool etc with friendly staff . Would use again but would not suit my wife ."

"First impressions when i parked up and looked at the building was that it looked tired and in need of some tlc, when entering the reception area it was immaculately clean and bright with welcoming friendly helpful staff. Walking to my room i was impressed by the dining area and bar. My room was spotless and very comfortable with the best blackout curtains. Very impressed with the room but a personal preference would have been to be on the first floor. All the staff were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional. I will definately stay again and hopefully enjoy just as much."
