「Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again.」

「Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend」

「Breakfast was very good, but parking was a nightmare. Information said the railway station was open until 19.30 .. we went to look ... 18.00! There is nowhere to drop off bags etc. abd my eife uses a mobility scooter, so, we would not be able to get anything to eat in the evening. I had to carry our case from the railway station and dusmantlr the scotter and made several trips up stairs to store it in the very small room, then, carry it downstairs again to go out. 「The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.」
