「I was offered an upgrade from a classic double to a feature double (for an extra £30pn) which I took. It was in the old part of the hotel. The room was very cold as the radiators were not working. I enquired at reception and was told that they would speak to someone to see if it could be sorted. A little while later an electric heater was delivered to the room which did not work and another was requested. This only managed to heat the bedroom while the bathroom remained cold. 「Hotel and room was very clean. Soap, shampoo and conditioner smelt amazing. Surprisingly quiet, considering that our room was facing the main street. Breakfast was great.
However, pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, mattress not the best either. I hardly had any sleep, as I could not get comfortable.
Food prices are reasonable, but quality of food fairly poor. I had a beef burger 🍔 but did not enjoy it. Cheap burger bun and burger itself. Chips were nice」
