"A hidden gem, such friendly staff. The rooms were huge with an amazing massage chair. Onsen indoors and outdoors and amazing food. We would travel back to the area to go to this hotel."

"スタッフの対応はよく、夕食朝食バイキングも料理の種類も豊富でした。 ただ展望風呂は脱衣場が狭く、洗い場も3ヶ所しかない為、裸のまま順番を待つことになりとても残念。地下の大浴場は快適だった。"

"自助餐好好食。very good"

"Great value for money. Breakfast included. Free bar in evening. Efficient systems. It is currently set up for people with cars. Public transport not great but Shinkansen track currently under construction with station nearby so access will improve."

"Fairfield provides a comfortable leisure hotel for staying in a rural place, it makes me feel much better to enjoy and explore their unique culture and sightseeing there. Fairfield already became one of my stops in every trip in Japan."

"This nice little hotel had a lovely small public bath, a reasonable breakfast which was varied day to day and did a great job service wise."

"Nice view to a beautiful garden and mountains from our room. It’s an old building which could be charming but some repairs would be nice."

"Perfect place "

"Staff was professional and very helpful in answering questions regarding how to get to local attractions. Location was great and close to local transportation and walkable. Really enjoyed their breakfast. "

"The room was clean and the staff very friendly. The kaiseki provided was very tasty and local, with staff who are knowledgeable about the food and the area. The indoor and outdoor onsen were comfortable and relaxing. We had a good time and enjoyed some very reasonably priced and tasty umeshu while there. Highly recommended!"

"Great hotel with public bath. Rooms are ok and breakfast was ample on the menu. Nice stay."
