"We have stayed at the Wayside Inn 3 times this Summer! It is a great place near the beautiful Ammonoosuc River in the North Country. The rooms are bright and cheery well appointed. Super innkeeper Sarah's complimentary breakfast is excellent. A restful tranquil stay in Bethlehem NH"

"Nice older property. We stayed in one of the upstairs log cabin rooms (nice) and one of the older motel style rooms elsewhere on the property. I don't recommend the older motel style rooms - small and packed with furniture and the HVAC seemed to be oversized (in the summer the HVAC wasn't drying the room so it felt cool, but moist). The upstairs log cabin rooms I would recommend - however, not the rooms near the office (room 10, 11, 12). Why you ask? Well the stairs to climb are over the break chair and table for the lady who runs the office. To say she is a chain smoker is being kind to chain smokers... she is constantly in this chair and as you climb the stairs all you smell is her second hand smoke. Not a pleasant experience to enjoy your stay at the Nootka Lodge."
