「The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm afraid I didn't get the name of the gentleman we talked to most - he was from Scotland. When our room key didn't work the 2nd day, he came up with us to check, and took them both to recharge them. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel - I poked my head in one of the mornings we were there and they did have a nice spread including a couple of waffle irons. We decided to try the 2 lovely places walking distance from the hotel. The first night we went...

Attempting to check in BEFORE 5 pm, lobby door was locked, got voicemail on all phone numbers called, never received check-in instructions via text. Finally, the desk clerk unlocked the lobby door stating she was busy with an IT issue but made me continue to wait to receive room code. She then stated that because I booked via Expedia she did not have my phone number to contact me...hmmmm」

「Fantastic view of the beach...just down the stairs. Good central location on the nothern part of the coast.」

「View was fantastic and it was so close to the beach you could just walk to it! However the room was not clean. There were also notes posted all over the room warning you of fines if f you did certain things, and although it’s good to communicate, it also didn’t make me feel relaxed and able to enjoy the stay. I would love to stay in Oceanside again but will look for different accommodations.」

「The location of the cabin was excellent. We had an unobstructed view of the ocean and access to the beach. However, the steps were very steep making entering difficult. The shower needs repairs. It was hard to turn the water on and off.」

「The property was OK.less stuffed from another properties. Need more stuff in the bathroom, kitchen and barbecue area. Otherwise, the property was clean and combination with the host normal.」

「Not sure how Expedia rated this at 2 stars. The “Inn” is misleading, as it is a motel, with room doors opening to the parking lot, which faces busy state highway. I could not accurately assess the cleanliness of the room as it was very very dark, with poor lighting. The bathroom was clean, and lighting was acceptable once the fan/heating element was turned on. The bed was uncomfortably soft with scratchy, threadbare linens and lumpy pillows. The door and walls had scratching and bare spots....
