Room was clean, Staff were super. Food was good. Missed the hot tub - never saw it. One minor suggestion would be to install even the smallest of space heaters into the rooms to help take the chill and dampness out on those cool nights and mornings. It was about 15C during our visit.

Cloud forest is impressive especially in Santa Elena National Park. Walking around misty forest for hours is so calming. Monteverde cloud forest offers amazing views of the whole area. Santa Elena town is fine, just few restaurants and nothing else.

Monteverde is busy. Titally geared up for tourists. Don’t expect there to be clouds in the national Parks; we went there to walk in the cloud forest but there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! The last hour of the journey there is on extremely bumpy gravel.
