"We stayed here for a weekend while visiting friends in Rota. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. No contact with anyone in person, given codes to access the room etc which was fine. its very central and there are plenty of places to get a coffee for breakfast just outside the main entrance. Only issue for us was noisy guests returning at 3am. I would happily stay here again if I was visiting again as it suited us perfectly. "

"My initial impression was dubious but on entering the building I was amazed at the beautiful and unique layout of the property. Although my bedroom (#4) was rather small, I was impressed by the high quality of the decorations. The shower facility was of a high standard. The rooftop terrace has been refurbished into a “chill out” area giving wonderful 360 degree views of the surroundings including a view of the distant castle. "We stayed one night here and will start with the negatives - to be honest we had trouble sleeping with the hum of the fridge and would be great to have one more pillow. The area outside and other guests were quiet so this was good. The shower was freezing. "The hotel is located straight across from the Algeciras ferry port. Rooms were clean but keep windows closed at night to keep flying insects out. Tour companies are right next door where you can purchase a ferry tour ticket to Africa. I purchased a ferry tour from Tarifa to/back Tangiers for 50 euros. A free complimentary bus takes you from/back the Algeciras port parking lot to the Tarifa ferry port. A tour guide will take a walking tour of the market area. Lunch is included, except for...
