“This was the cutest little townhome style apartment. Beds were located in the small loft, but were comfortable with nice bedding. Apartment has plenty of seating. Kitchen is minimal and not well equipped, but has a mini fridge. Fresh, unlimited, bottled water is offered, which was a nice surprise. The area is up a steep hill and removed from the main traffic, but it was VERY noisy at night with close neighborhood noises and some VERY loud dance music late into the night (we declined to stay……

“To clear up the contradictory reviews. This hotel has no pool, the one in the picture is the private home next door. This is also no airport shuttle. But it takes less than 10min to get there by Grab Cab. The staff was very friendly, did use my translate app. But was not a problem or a hassle and was surprised I didn’t need to use it more this trip. “The hotel is tucked away in a small side street from the street, but clearly marked and easy to find. The staff (one guy and his family) were great and friendly and very helpful, arranging a day tour and a bus to Haiphong for me. The room itself was nice, though no windows, but had a desk and multiple wall chargers. I do wish the room had a water kettle of its own. But that elevator! I loved the elevator and the ding sound it made when reaching a floor and how it would trail upwards! What a……
