"This is a very nice camping ground location. The name is actually called Workshop camp resort. The google maps address is wrong, continue up the road past 2 other properties. The palace cabins are basic, good size. The hot water did not work in our cabin. Pretty location in the forest."

"The good: great location. We had a wonderful view of Mt Fuji right from our room. Close to the sight-seeing bus line. Close to restaurants and department store. Onsen was fun. Neat to have a room with tatami mats and paper window panels. The bad: older building and in places really showing it's age. Staff only speaks Japanese (but Google translate helps with that). I also learned that futon mattresses aren't comfortable for me (my son loved them)."

"Lovely quirky hotel. It is quite basic but the rooms are clean (and have a great view of Mt Fuji!), and the communal lounge is great to hang out in. The staff are lovely and so helpful, the shuttle to and from the station was very helpful! Lots of restaurants within walking distance. "
