“Nice quiet location. Free kayak,bike rental was good. If you walk through rocky place you can fish everywhere and easy to catch. Shower was kinda broken but usable. ”

“The room was not what we wanted. It smelled like the old cooking oil they use at the restaurant on the premises. They put us on the second floor with old chairs to sit on outside. While sitting out on the walkway it smelled like human urine. The inside was dirty the table looks like it has not been cleaned ever. The pand and utensils gad grease on them aka dirty. We asked to be moved to a room that cost less and that was a no can do. .”

“The property was clean and inviting. We stayed in the room above the office. It was very quiet, clean and smelled fresh. The staff was excellent; he answered our questions and was very helpful when approached. Would happily stay here again! ”

“beach is nice. has sand which not all do. well kept. rooms nice. mine was on the beach, slight upcharge but worth it. breakfast is simple but good. 4 kinds of fresh muffins cooked on site and 2 kinds of egg frittatas. I recommend this hotel. ”

“Sands of Islamorado is a hidden gem. It is a very well maintained piece of Americana. Rooms are updated, spacious and very clean. The pool / lounging area is very well maintained. Got there late and did not meet staff but you can tell they take pride. This was my first time actually stopping in the Keys on the way to Key West and was not let down. Next trip will include several nights at the Sands of Islamorado. ”
