“We enjoyed having a glass of wine by the fire pit in the courtyard area, and the adjoining restaurant for breakfast. Our primary interest was proximity to the Shining Sea Bikeway which was just a block away. Easy stroll to the downtown area with lots of shops and restaurants. We did not use the indoor pool as it was crowded with families which wasn’t our vibe but they were obviously having a great time on a rainy night. Free parking a plus. We would stay here again.”

“We’ve stayed before just a few months ago. Had a lovely time. This time, we were greeted at 7:00 Pm by a 13 year old child who was delightful and intelligent. However, he was 13 and working the front desk. Checked us in. No adult around. The room had a shower head that moved back and forth and actually shifted the water spout below it. The other tenant on the other side of our shower started their shower and made our water freeze while we were in it. There was a person in the AM breakfast who……

“Completely updated older hotel. Everything was spotless. The room was nice with an excellent king size mattress. Very comfortable. Because it was older architecture the bathroom was pretty small. Small sink and standard size bathtub with shower. And there was no outlet in the bathroom. Apparently, they said they were going to be doing some updates to that in the winter for next season. They had a nice pool and fire pit. It’s on the main drag of Route 28 but it was quiet there. Of course we were……

“Furniture in room was falling apart. Curtain had holes in it. Bathroom ceiling was cracked. Bed was hardest most uncomfortable we ever tried to sleep on. Smoking area was in bad place by the entrance. Staff was fine, especially housekeeper, she was friendly. Did like location and the pool was good, if a little outdated. Maintainance work was being done outside too early in the morning. Breakfast was subpar, waffle maker didnt work properly.”
