"期待はずれでした。 料理が、塩辛い。コーヒー苦すぎる。"

"A very nice hot spring hotel; pleasant hot spring renovation as well as the in room private hot spring and the meals are good too."

"This is a ryokan where the rooms have been updated but the onsen baths are still original, as is most of the town. The staff was extremely helpful. The cooks were very accommodating for gluten and dairy allergies, the breakfasts and dinners were delicious. There are two private baths you can reserve in addition to the male and female baths. The town is cute, you can walk all around it in a half hour, plus time for soft serve and coffee."

"Absolutely beautiful area and driving distance to Mt. Aso"
