「Pretty much exactly what we had expected - clean, close to the ferry, a Tesco, and plenty of shops and eateries. Very much a spot on 3 star, like a Holiday Inn, Best Western; but in the Heberdies! Happy with our stay and the hotel.」

「The hotel is very comfortable, the facilities are very good, the windows can see the mountain view, the scenery is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious.」

「房间小，隔音差，特别楼下酒吧噪音大。」

「Perfect kings room, staff is very helpful and patient even experiencing massive power outage due to the severe storm. Breakfast is very nice and offers good grab and go breakfast.」

「Very special place, we can’t wait to revisit. Lovely, quaint room with lots of storage. Beautiful restaurant and homey pub. Location is simply perfect.」

「Excellent 」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Soundproofing - could hear nouse of pun below.」

「Excellent! classic hotel with very beautiful restaurant 」

「I understand monies might be limited to keep a landmark building up to our modern standards. But, lumpy creaky mattress, missing light bulbs, a TV/no channels programmed, a simple box of tissues all lacking even after a request placed. But, all in all a roof over our heads, a good shower facility, a view of the water & Bressay Island, central location for exploring the shops and walking the wonderful town of Lerwick.」

「Tidy room with brilliant scenery. The host is helpful. Continental breakfast is yummy. Free parking. Highly recommend!」
