We had a great stay! The cottages were cozy and well appointed. The staff was AMAZING, well organized at check in and they bring your luggage to and from your cottage for you. We were a group of eight people and the restaurant staff was so pleasant and patient with us. Great food selection available. We love The Brecken Hide. Highly recommend!

Unique set up with individual cabins positioned on hillside with wonderful views. Food excellent along with top quality service and a special call out to Paulina. Only downside is lack of onsite transportation for customers to and from cabins Given potential weather challenges and customers with health conditions hiking up and down hillside pathways could be a challenge

After traveling all day and doing everything possible to get to the Isle of Skye (ferry cancelled, no available taxi's or rental cars), the hotel refused to cancel our reservation or give us a refund. I do not recommend doing business with the Bracken Hide Hotel because of this.

This property is absolutely amazing! The positioning of the individual rooms on the hillside is fantastic. The rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and its simplicity is lovely. The only thing I would say, and this is for a number of the hotels I’ve stayed at in Scotland ….the public areas like the bar and sitting areas like the restaurants are a bit worn, and in some cases, not clean enough. In the bar, they were spills on the chairs and the couches staining the fabrics, but they didn’t simply clean them. I love the place, but the attention to detail would put it over the top.

Lovely stay at The Bracken Hide. The room was warm and comfortable, with soft bedding and a peaceful atmosphere. The beautiful setting offered fresh air and scenic views, while the friendly staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, with fresh flavors and thoughtful presentation. The TV issue was a minor inconvenience, but overall it was a wonderful experience.

Lovely hotel! Bit outside the main area but not the longest walk. Breakfast was great and features a sauna. Hot tub would have been nice rather than cold pool. Rooms are very tiny but unique. Cool stay

The Hides were a perfect little private get away. The staff dropped our bags off at our Hide for us which was very helpful. The restaurant (reservation needed) was very nice, the lounge was comfortable and the drinks were excellent. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and was more than happy to help us with anything we needed. Lovely stay, highly recommended!

Darn near my favorite property I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing view, excellent service, wonderful and unique room and property. Only down side, we were on the top at the Storr level… we like walking but that’s a bit of a tough walk. :)

Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views from cabin. Sauna was fabulous after a long day with variable weather conditions. You can book them in advance and have your privacy. Tea, coffee, hot pot refrigerator in rooms a big convenience. Bathrooms are modern, with in floor heating and towel warmers. Beds are comfy and linens are top notch. Breakfast included was delicious. Dinner was very good. Cons: There can be a bit of a hike to the cabin up hill. Don’t let that stop you this place is fantastic. But after a long day of hiking and rain it can be tough!! They will bring up your luggage just not you. Staff overall is very good but a few of the waiters and bartender it were odd to communicate with.

The pods are great and the rooms are clean though a bit small but functional we just would’ve liked to have had a little more housekeeping attention and the dining room was booked both nights we were there which was frustrating because it was so beautiful, but the breakfast were delicious and the location is ideal
