“Here’s a polished review you can post: We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aguas Claras in Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. The beach nearby was beautiful, peaceful, and great for relaxing. Everything about the experience felt special and authentic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Caribbean side of Costa Rica!”

The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. “The glamping domes are not for those looking for a hotel with all of the amenities. It is glamping. The domes are smack dab in the middle of a forest surrounded by lots of nature. The ocean is steps away with a very private beach. The water was pretty rough in June, but still beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The showers at the domes are cold water only; however, there is a separate hot water shower on the grounds. The zipper and small opening to some of the domes can be difficult to move in……

“The Expedia description does not match the actual accommodation: It is not a 4 star guest house but rather a 2 star hostel. Also, we couldn’t find the house in the first place since it has no name on it, neither would people living there know the place (in the hostel itself it then shows a different name). The location is good since all restaurants, bars and shops are around, however it gets super noisy during the night. The worst thing for us was the dirtiness especially in the shared……
