I really enjoyed the stay. All staff were very nice. The free shuttle service between hotel and train station/ski center was extremely helpful and convenient. Location is good - I quite enjoyed the walk to train station and old town, ~15 mins. Room was nice and spacious. Dinner at Sonorite/A Table was very nice too. The only comment is the elevator which has a kind of shabby smell.

The property is located within a peaceful golf course setting, offering a quiet and scenic environment. Driving from Karuizawa JR Station takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Please note that the road leading to the hotel can be quite dark at night, so extra caution is recommended when driving. We stayed in Room 113, which includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Such a wonderful piece of history! So nice to share with family. Gallery is fantastic but got quite mouldy smell. If it’s possible to put air purifier to ease the situation or even get rid of the mould would be nice.

New hotel with nice view. Good staff providing good services and very polite. However, it is a bit far away from the main facilities of the hotel complex. Besides, The facilities are a bit old.
