“Good but no parking in hotel.”

“Unfortunately, although we somewhat enjoyed the hotel and the spa was excellent, we will not return. The mattresses were so uncomfortable that we repeatedly struck the base beneath them; the surface was remarkably soft, and we felt every spring. After requesting a different room for better bedding, we were informed that all mattresses share this design. Additionally, the restaurant could improve significantly, and we did not consider the breakfast worth the price.”

“Probably due to limitations of the vertical movement of the elevators, we , staying at the lower level, took ages to get to the front desk to check out.”

“Very welcoming and efficient staff at reception, self check in also available. We stayed in a family double room with 2 large, comfortable beds. Tea and coffee available, but no biscuits though, and 2 glasses in the room but no water which was a little strange. Good size desk for working on, if travelling on business, with plenty of sockets including USB points as well as more socket/USB by the bed, which is always handy. wifi had a very good signal and easy to connect to. Iron, ironing……

“First night ( Saturday night) it was so noisy until midnight:( . Second night is much better. You book 2 nights, they don’t clean your room next day:( Overall it’s good place to stay.”

No information about the grounds or the area. Most disappointing spa. It was filthy with clumps of hair in showers and plastic dirt and hairs by the poolside and dirty tea cups. The alarming thing was we returned the second morning and it was still the same. No cleaning had taken place over night. The spa is advertised as a relaxing……

“Very dated and over priced.”

“工作人員很友善”

“This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel.”
