“The property is beautiful - all the amenities and great playgrounds for the kids. Sign posting is terrible and staff responses are lacklustre at best.”

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”

“Be aware, this is not a hotel, but rather a house located in a residential area with only three rooms. There is no breakfast, no swimming pool, and it is definitely not the so-called four-star hotel they claimed it to be. The three rooms share a single bathroom, and there are rules against showering and blow-drying your hair past 11 PM and before 7 AM. The rooms are small and dimly lit. Once you fall for their trap, there's no recourse, and the price is very high. I will never return.”

“Would first of all like to say what an obliging host Jeremy was. Communication was quick and helpful. Check in information was good, especially as it was very short notice. Unfortunately the property is in dire need of refurbishment. We felt there is inadequate lighting to the stairs up to the apartment. We also found it difficult to get our cases up the next flight of stairs which has a tight dog leg to the bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a few frozen items which we were unable to put in the……

“This apartment is spacious, light and airy. The bedrooms are a good size. The terrace is nice. Information from host regarding check in was good. Read a few reviews regarding the upkeep of the property and it’s a shame nothing has been done. This property could be fantastic if some money was spent on it. The carpets have stains over them, cracks and watermarks on ceilings, sofa is tatty, iron and ironing board do not work. Mattresses do not have any protectors on them. Oven tray was dirty and……

“Our host was accommodating he let us check in early and bought a new dinner set the next day when I alerted him. I liked the fact that parking came included and it was centrally located. We did have a few problems such as the excess dust and dirt under the sofa, the uncomfortable bed, the linen that really needs changing (it’s been washed too many times) and the dishwasher wasn’t functioning. ”
