"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. "Such an unique experience! These bothies are incredible, both in the design, practicality and location. We hired two bothies for our family of 5 and dog and they were great, very clean, equipped and really made us more energy conscious. We were very comfortable. They also supply everything including washing up liquid, sponges, bin bags, logs, fire lighters, kindling. The location is ideal for exploring this part of the Cairngorms and google maps took us straight there - it’s setting within...

"This newly and beautifully restored farm byre made a fantastic base for exploring the surrounding countryside and castles. A very spacious and comfortable living space, tastefully decorated, with a superbly equipped kitchen. This was our favourite accommodation in our tour of Scotland. "

To use with hair dryer. Breakfast poor compared to other places we have stayed in. Milk was frozen in fridge. Broken tiles and mildew in bathroom."
