“There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”

“The Dunalastair was a pleasant surprise at the end of a long and winding road, and I mean that literally! We booked online thinking it would shorten our ride to Edinburgh from Loch Ness because the Expedia website said it was in Pitlochry, but it’s actually 20 miles away from Pitlochry!
