Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This fabulous property offers comfortable accommodation for couples and singles wishing to explore Oxfordshire. Set in the lovely village of Appleton, which offers a village pub, community shop, Jubilee Park play area, golfing within 2 miles and canoeing rental opportunity, The Fold is set off the main road with lovely views over fields.



This first floor apartment with a separate entrance, is down a private drive. It enjoys patio doors in the open plan living space which open out to a Juliet balcony with countryside views. Plenty of walks can be enjoyed from the front door.



The Cotswolds are a hop and skip away and The Chilterns can be found in the opposite direction. The Fold is also just 6 miles from the centre of the University city of Oxford, as well as 9 miles from Blenheim Palace with countless other places of interest within easy reach. Set along the River Thames, some of these towns claim to be the oldest in England. You can meander through ancient streets, medieval towns, enjoy riverside walks, sample some gourmet delights at the many food shops and restaurants in the town, attend one of the annual festivals or simply visit the gastropubs of the area.



Enjoy local horse riding, golfing, fishing, canoeing or punting trips along the river, discover beautiful historic buildings, enjoy some retail therapy in nearby towns or at the famous Bicester Village, 30 min away. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 700 yards.

Peaceful with great view

Perfect for a couple and the view across the fields was beautiful. Location is very quiet and has very easy access to the A420 into Oxford and the A34. There is a dedicated parking place and easy access to the property. Modern bathroom and good kitchen facilities. There are a couple of good pubs nearby, although we never tried the Plough in Appleton. Chantal was a great host and responded very quickly to a query we had about the heating.
