「This was an amazing place to stay. The second you step in, you feel like your teleported 150 years into the past. I loved all the original stuff they left in the house. Very cool vibes. You can tell the people that take care of this place, have a lot of pride in it. Great place to stay if your in Springfield, Indiana!」

「We were there as we wanted a safe, comfortable place with parking near the Capitol for legislative session, and this place was perfect! It was cool to see the history of a place so beautifully preserved while also being comfortable and functional. We had a couple issues with communications from VRBO regarding the check-in process not going through, but the host is super communicative and responsive. We would definitely stay again!」

「We were delighted with The Bressmer. The ground floor is very large with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a game room, a writing room, full kitchen and dining room. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Victorian style. We felt so special staying at The Bressmer we didn't want to leave. 」

Every amenity you could imagine. We had an amazingly wonderful weekend of sharing and church family time.」

「We stayed in the blast from the blast apartment. And it really was. Each room featured items from the late 60's through the 90's. ie a cb radio, a TV in a console, 45 rpm records, painting by number pictures, a psychedelic hide out. It is just fun. The front yard/garden is wild and beautiful. The kitchen has modern appliances. I can't say enough about this place.」

「Location is great, close to everything we wanted to do. House was clean and as described. Bathrooms are like a jack in jill style, one toilet off common area and other off master bed room which lead to a shared tub/shower. We really liked this with details noting only one full bath. Use of the garage was nice also. Neighbor was very quiet. We also tripped on the rug under the dining room table many times. Thank you, we had a great stay」

「This was a beautiful building that has been refurbished in a very nice fashion. I love staying in older hotels because they have such character. This one was 1909 I think, but updated with very modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Other treats - wine and cheese and cookies were great additions. The location is close to downtown and local attractions.」

「The room was 2 queens and wonderfully large. Everything was very clean even though some of our party thought the pillows were too soft. The staff was friendly and helpful and always smiling. Definitely a winner.」

「Pros: Beds were comfortable with bedside tables and access to outlets, carpeting looked new. Great location to local attractions and restaurants. Felt like a safe neighborhood. Driveway fits two cars, with street parking available for more. Owner very responsive to questions. Cons: Needs better attention to cleaning (windowsills were very dirty throughout, air exchange vents were either super dirty or rusted); Could use a table and/or luggage racks in bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom had a walk-in...

「We came in for some meetings for work. The only downside to the house is that there’s only one tiny shower with low water pressure. We made it work though. It was an awesome house to stay in & I’d definitely stay there again!」
